Free Script Fonts With Multiple Glyph Styles – Part 3

A few years ago, I started a series of posts about free fonts with glyphs. I've always been in awe of those lovely extras hidden in many fonts that can elevate any design in a flash. With this being a little fun project of mine with no client deadlines, I was excited to explore away all the new fonts to find the ones that have decorative alternatives for letters, numbers, and special symbols. This project evolved and branched out quite unexpectedly from an introductory post on how to access and use glyphs to articles about the script fonts with glyphs for commercial use . Of course, I could never stop searching for perfection, so here comes another list of script fonts with glyphs for commercial use. With thousands of fonts available online, I have yet to find my perfect typefaces.   GLYPHS These fonts come with dozens of beautiful alternatives – glyphs. The best way to access them is to use the software that supports OpenType features, such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.

Free Back to School Font Pairings With a Witty Twist

After four months of quarantine, we don’t seem to be getting any closer to a "normal" life we knew before the global pandemic. It’s hard to face it, but it remains an open question whether or not we are returning to school this fall. But in this time of uncertainty, it feels right to try to bring back some pre-fall design routine by coming up with these back to school quotes.

Some fonts are simple sans serif fonts that are clean and legible, while others are more relaxed and whimsical to bring on a carefree spirit. It’s always a challenge not to fall for the first trendy back to school fonts I come across. Even though, they look very telling and instantly bring on associations with the school, but their childlike handwritten quality feels too overused and all over any back to school graphics.

Often, those popular-at-the-moment school fonts may seem fun, but they will blend in easily with the rest of alike graphics on the web, loosing their personality. To pull off a distinctive school feel, look for inspiration in the chalkboard typography (handwritten chalkboard coffee signs) and farmhouse signs.

These quotes can be used on just about anything from a mug to a t-shirt to a note.

This design is intended for personal use. However, if you wish to incorporate these phrases into your products for sale, make sure you purchase a commercial version of the font (instructions provided on the font-sharing site with the designer's contact information) and run the quote through the TESS (Trademark Electronic Search System) database to ensure you can use it on your items to sell.

Now it’s time to have some fun!
