And instead of letting the drawing live forever inside my sketchbook, I thought—why not turn all those little doodles into something you can use too?
So here it is: a free printable Halloween doodle collection!
Free Hand-Drawn Halloween Doodles
I wanted to keep the illustrations looking like actual doodles rather than making everything perfectly smooth and polished. The slightly wonky lines and pencil texture are part of their charm!
The collection includes:
Witch
Witch hat
Jack-o’-lantern
Ghost
Spider
Spiderweb
Crescent moon
Bats
Candy corn
Halloween candle
Autumn leaves
I kept the color palette simple too—lots of black, gray, orange and just a little yellow for that classic Halloween look.
What Can You Do With the Halloween Doodles?
So many things! Print the page on regular paper and cut out your favorite doodles, or use cardstock if you want something a little sturdier.
You can use them for Halloween cards, scrapbook pages, junk journals, planners, classroom projects, party decorations, treat bags, gift tags and other little Halloween crafts.
Print them onto full-sheet sticker paper and you can even make your own Halloween stickers.
I think the little bats, candy corn and leaves would be especially cute scattered around a planner page, while the witch, pumpkin and ghost can become the stars of bigger Halloween projects.
And, of course, kids can simply cut them out and create their own spooky Halloween scenes.
A Little Halloween Doodling Inspiration
One of my favorite things about doodles is that they don’t have to be perfect.
Actually, they’re probably better when they’re not perfect.
A crooked witch hat? Keep it.
A slightly lopsided pumpkin? Even better.
A bat whose wings don’t quite match? He’s got personality.
If you’ve been wanting to draw but keep telling yourself you’re “not an artist,” use these doodles as inspiration. Grab a pencil and try drawing your own little Halloween collection. You might be surprised by how cute all those imperfect little sketches look together.

Print at 100% / Actual Size for the original sizing, or adjust your printer settings if you’d like the doodles a little smaller.
For best results, use regular printer paper for everyday crafts and coloring, or white cardstock for sturdier cutouts and decorations.
A Few More Ways to Use Them
Don’t stop at just one sheet! You can resize the doodles for tiny gift tags, use them to decorate Halloween treat bags, add them to handmade cards, or print several copies and let the kids create an entire Halloween collage.
I especially love the idea of pairing them with some fun Halloween lettering. Add “Happy Halloween,” “Trick or Treat,” “Hey Boo,” “Stay Spooky,” or “Witching You a Happy Halloween” and you’ve got an easy little handmade project.
However you use them, I hope these doodles add a little handmade Halloween charm to your October crafting.
Happy Halloween and happy creating!
