Baytown’s Hidden Splash Gem: Jenkins Park Splash Pad, TX

I have it on good authority that the splash pad at Jenkins Park in Baytown has everything you need for a great, fun-in-the-sun outing. It features a playful marsh theme with spraying oversized cattails, frogs, snakes, butterflies, a dumping bucket, arches, and even an alligator slide. Several covered picnic tables sit right next to the spray grounds and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We absolutely loved it here, and we think you will too!

Cirque du Soleil: Corteo is Back With Its Big Tour in The US

The show that makes you want to run away with the circus. The performance first debuted in Montreal, Canada in 2005. And now it is back with its big tour in the US through July 15, 2018.
The Dead Clown is the main character, who observes and orchestrates his own funeral transforming it into a festive-like experience.

Suspended chandeliers with gymnasts swinging them across the stage, balloons that hardly would fit inside a decent size apartment, acrobats pulling off their stunts under the roof and making your heart to skip a beat or two (or just hold your breath for the entire time while they are up on the stage), beds built as trampolines that call to your inner child and more, much more awaits you.

On top of it, the show is accompanied by live music that amplifies moments like when a young lady plummets to stage holding a rope with one foot to only stops a few inches from the platform.
